Novel Integrated Bodysuit Prototype 1.0 : A pre-pilot feasibility beta-testing developmental phase*
2014 | BODYSUIT (COLLABORATION WITH HANOUX & MARS WITHOUT BORDERS)
We designed and used crystalline solids integrated & placed in strategic areas to develop an early stage prototyping/design of a novel “Energy Bodysuit ” idea which was used in a pre-pilot feasibility beta-testing at Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS)with MarsWithoutBorders (MWOB) Expedition One, Crew 145 Analog Astronaut.
In 2014 Carrie Mae Rose was a remote artist & researcher with Mars Without Borders. She collaborated with the organization Mars Without Borders (MWOB) and a clothing company called Hanoux to build a wearable garment. This garment, a crystalline bodysuit, was worn during a 2 week mission at Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) in December of 2014. These garments were qualitatively tested during meditation in this extreme desert environment.

The research and testing of this creative material was presented at California College of Art (CCA) in SF in April of 2015. https://www.cca.edu/calendar/2015/lecture-carrie-mae-rose-angels-astronauts
